What's happening at Easter at Wigmore Free Church.

In Britain, around 20% of people head to church every Sunday. During the Easter period that leaps up to almost 50%. Easter is evidently a very important time, not just for Christians, but for a lot of the country it seems.
At Wigmore, we have a few events to celebrate this Easter.
The first is on Good Friday (14th April), at 10.30am. This is a short service where we will explore why it is called 'Good' Friday and what happened nearly 2000 years ago. This service will be followed by soup and a roll before heading off to Capstone country park for our first ever, 'Good Friday Ramble'.
Then on Easter Sunday (16th April) we have a family service at 11am. This is a slightly shorter service than normal, and orientated around children and families in general, however everyone is welcome. This service will be followed by light refreshment.
If you have ever thought or are thinking about coming to church, Easter might be the ideal time for you to start! We would love to see you join us over the Easter period, or if you want to come sooner rather than later our services on a Sunday are at 11am and 6.30pm!
