In Touch February 2026

Dear Friends,

February is a month that often asks something of us. The excitement of a new year has settled, winter still stretches ahead, and progress—whether spiritual, emotional, or practical—can feel slow. This is where faithfulness matters most.

Scripture reminds us that God works steadily, not hurriedly. Much of what God does in us happens quietly, beneath the surface, long before it becomes visible. Growth is rarely dramatic. More often, it looks like showing up to pray when we feel distracted, choosing obedience when enthusiasm fades, and trusting God even when change seems delayed.

The apostle Paul encourages us with these words:
“Let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up” (Galatians 6:9).

Faithfulness is not about perfection or constant momentum. It is about continuing—continuing in prayer, in worship, in serving one another, and in placing our lives before God day after day. These ordinary acts of faith are where God shapes us most deeply.

As a church, I am grateful for the many ways I see this steady faith lived out among you: in unseen acts of service, in consistent generosity, and in prayers offered faithfully week after week. These things matter. They build a strong foundation, not only for our church but for the witness we offer to the world.

May we be encouraged this month to trust God’s ongoing work—both in us and through us—and to remain steadfast, knowing that our labour in the Lord is never in vain.

With prayer and gratitude,

Pastor Tim
